Providing mountain views, Cabañas Kuyen in Coihaique provides accommodation, a garden and a terrace. It was even better than it looked in the pictures with a nice big log burner and lots of cut wood to keep everything toasty. But the best thing about our stay was the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts Ines and Hugo, who would always go the extra mile if you needed anything. So, although a bit out of town, getting in and out was not a problem. And Hugo would go out of his way to show us the local sights.

Patagonia Acres Lodge in Mallin Grande provides accommodation with free WiFi access, an equipped game room and a 9-hole golf course. The owner went above, and beyond expectations to make me feel welcome, accommodated, and made sure I enjoyed my day to the fullest.

This is a lodge you definitely do not want to miss! The rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and the wifi is excellent. But the level of service here is the real story. Sebastian, the owner, made us feel at home immediately. As an example when we arrived we had been looking for a specific locally made Gin and had no luck in finding it. Sebastian immediately made a call to a business in town to make sure that they carried it before we went. Once he found out they had it he offered to drive us into town to get it. This type of service is extraordinary. It was repeated like this throughout our stay. The lodge has a great feel to it with wonderful places and spaces to relax and talk and even a lounge upstairs with a large television and every channel on earth to enjoy. Great for me as a sports fan from the US. Lastly the breakfasts and dinners we had were delicious and savory. It is nice that they have a real chef on staff. Thanks again Sebastian for treating us like family.

Lodge El Mirador De Guadal offers a stunning location on General Carrera Lakeshore, nestled against a panoramic Patagonian Mountain backdrop. Great food, great location but mostly great staff. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much.
