Offering free WiFi and a seasonal outdoor pool, La Maravilla Lodge is set in Vilches, 39 km from Talca. Linares is 42 km away. Free private parking is available on site. La Maravilla Lodge made a great base for exploring Parque Nacional Altos de Lircay and the surrounding area. The friendly and personal service of the owner and other staff was outstanding and the food was particularly excellent. We ate there on three nights and the food was freshly prepared, inventive and beautifully presented each time. Breakfasts were equally delicious! The lodge also has a lovely garden and terrace for sitting out on an evening.

Such lovely and cozy cabañas, beautiful garden, animals, playground, pools and hot tubs. And always a great view on the ocean. Paradise for both kids and adults! Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and could speak English very well. A big plus is also their focus on sustainability (e.g. solar panels on each cabaña's roof).

The house is super remote, in the midst of the gorgeous Andes mountains, surrounded by beautiful colorful rock formations, crystal clear rivers, natural pools, waterfalls and flowers. The house has everything you can possibly need. I cooked the whole week, the kitchen is great. The bed was comfy. The hosts are very kind and helpful people, we did a full-day horseback ride with Niko and it was breathtaking, Maca's cooking and communication were impeccable. You can also hike a lot nearby, including a 13 km circular trail, challenging but the views are stunning. Overall, a wonderful time and I'd love to come back in spring one day when the meadows are flowering. Thanx!
