The lodge was recently built, is well maintained and extremely confortable. Everything was as clean as it can be. The owners are really nice and available to help with our needs.

Great location, the place was very clean and modern. They had hot shower, the bed was comfortable. Super staff!

Amazing property right on a beautiful quiet beach with hardly anybody on it. A bit of a mission to get there but 100% worth it, the staff were amazing and super friendly it is slightly rustic but the view off your deck is fantastic! The waves are fun for surfing also.

The staff was friendly and professional, the cocktails in the pool side restaurant were generous and expertly mixed, and the homemade ice cream was decadent and delicious. Guacamaya Lodge is so perfect in itself, and yet, with its location a few hundred yards from a breathtaking, expansive beach, your greatest dilemma will be whether to lounge poolside sipping mojitos, or get some exercise and head to the playa. We cannot wait to return. Well done, Guacamaya Lodge!

This is a beautiful place for real nature lovers. There are critters so if you don't like them, this is not the place for you.

Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

The beds were very comfortable and allowed us perfect rest, and the breakfast was fantastic with a different menu every day. The hotel offered a breathtaking views that left us in awe every morning & night. Whether it was watching the sunrise from my room or enjoying a sunset on the terrace, the vistas were nothing short of spectacular. Canta la Rana is a true gem which offers an incredible experience and Juan and Patrick are the perfect hosts
