The lodge was recently built, is well maintained and extremely confortable. Everything was as clean as it can be. The owners are really nice and available to help with our needs.

The Good Life Lodge offers 6 modern and comfortable hotel rooms and a 2-story house. Great location, the place was very clean and modern. They had hot shower, the bed was comfortable. Super staff!

Amazing property right on a beautiful quiet beach with hardly anybody on it. A bit of a mission to get there but 100% worth it, the staff were amazing and super friendly it is slightly rustic but the view off your deck is fantastic! The waves are fun for surfing also.

Guacamaya Lodge has a beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained pool area and grounds, large comfortable rooms with vaulted ceilings, roomy bathrooms with plenty of hot water, to name a few of its wonderful features. Guacamaya Lodge exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and professional, the cocktails in the pool side restaurant were generous and expertly mixed, and the homemade ice cream was decadent and delicious. Guacamaya Lodge is so perfect in itself, and yet, with its location a few hundred yards from a breathtaking, expansive beach, your greatest dilemma will be whether to lounge poolside sipping mojitos, or get some exercise and head to the playa. We cannot wait to return. Well done, Guacamaya Lodge!

Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

Whether it was watching the sunrise from my room or enjoying a sunset on the terrace, the vistas were nothing short of spectacular. Canta la Rana is a true gem which offers an incredible experience and Juan and Patrick are the perfect hosts
