Surrounded by beautiful farmland, with sheep and cows grazing, this is a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle.
We particularly enjoyed sitting out under the stars by the fire pit, with the sheep wandering over to have a nose at us!

Lovely setting in living room/diner/kitchen, and very clean. Very handy having two bathrooms. Good privacy from other lodges.
This lodge was one of the best equipped we have stayed in, and we have stayed in similar lodges many times in the New Forest. Everything was clean and comfortable, easy to access, and the welcome pack items were ideal.
The recently built lodges are really well built. Perfect for families who would want that bit of privacy and feel at home. All areas are well maintained and really clean! The cleaners do a fantastic job!
All of it. Beautiful setting, stunning rooms so comfortable and beautifully appointed. Good privacy. Hot tubs in some of the lodges. Great staff. Delicious food. Highly highly recommend!
The lodges/houses are immaculate. I personally stayed in the kingfisher house/lodge. Sleeps up to 6. But I travel 🧳 on my own on work related vacations. The views are stunning, the kingfisher is absolutely huge. Everything is in the house that you need. Nothing has been missed out. Short walk to reception, The staff are absolutely amazing, kind, nice natured, extremely happy & helpful. Lucy & Michelle were absolutely amazing,
Great location, comfortable bed, nice big shower, easy breakfast. Quite couldn't hear any other rooms like you can in travel lodges
EVERYTHING. The lodge was superb. Every detail was to the highest standard and so well equipped. The Under floor heating made the whole lodge lovely and warm. It felt like home from home. We loved the hot tub, which was well used by the whole family. The addition of lovely thick robes provided for everyone was really appreciated. We have stayed in quite a few lodges around Devon, Cornwall and Wales and this lodge was by far the best yet.
The location and quiet set up nestled behind a castle in a quiet valley. The lodges are clean, warm and quiet. They are very dog friendly and have easy clean wood floors. All facilities included , kitchenware, dishwasher and even washing machine with a separate shower and large corner bath. The bar is cosy and prices are acceptable for a holiday location. We will come again and recommend the location to friends.
