The lodge is beautiful, amazing food, staff were very helpful with organising the safari and taxi to our next town. The room and ensuite very clean and spacious. Overall excellent stay and good value for money.

The room was comfortable with everything we needed, clean and toiletries provided. The dinner was delicious. Is close to the Wilpattu National Park, so you can do the safari there. The owner help us to arrange safari tours for reasonable price, and he helped to get transport to the next city with fair price. He was really friendly and trying to help as much as he could. We recommend this place to stay to have a tranquil night or even few nights, even if you don't do the safari, the rooms has small terraces that are good for relax.

The location was very close to the national park and safaris could be arranged with the hotel.

We had me of the best sleeps there during our whole stay in Sri Lanka! They have really comfy glamping tents and huge outdoor bathrooms. The safari was THE BEST and one of the biologists who runs the lodge accompanied us and told us so much about the wildlife.

The host is a well known bioligist who build a few lodges next to the national park entrance and situated in the rice fields. Do not expect any luxury. The money earned go’s after costs back to nature preservation. GO HERE!!

Great jungle atmosphere, you literally hear only the sounds of jungle while sleeping. The owner Tarique was amazing, helped us with everything and gave us great tips not only for Safari in Wilpattu, but also for travels around Srilanka. Also, the dinner was to die for, the best one we had in Srilanka. The location is perfect, just a short tuktuk drive away from Wilpattu national park.

The team at big game were great! They upgraded us to the larger tents over at the Mahoora reserve which was a lovely surprise. The overall experience is one we definitely won’t forget - with knowledgeable staff, fantastic evening dining by the fire and any other extras you could think of! The Safari was great with included picnic breakfast!
