So convenient to get to Trou D’argent, St.Francois or Pointe Cotton beaches. Mr and Mrs. Garrick are fabulous hosts. I am a vegetarian, and finding vegetarian fare is not very easy, but the hosts helped out immensely and made us feel at home. If I go back to Rodrigues, I would without a shadow of a doubt go back and stay at Gite Patriko.

Offering a restaurant, Residence Foulsafat is located in Port Mathurin. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. I loved the 'Gites Kreol' which I had all to myself. The welcome the 1st evening all guests were invited to dine with the family. Good food and atmosphere. French was the predominant language spoken, English was understood. Loved the infinity pool after a long day sightseeing. Highly recommend for a quiet relaxing stay. Next time I will bring my husband along to hopefully stay in the same accommodation as they have different styles of gites.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Domaine de La Paix Sedim Ltd is located in Port Mathurin. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. Beautifully located on a hilltop, this is probably the accommodation with the most stunning sunset I have ever witnessed. The premises really live up to its name: it was a haven of peace and quiet. The apartment was nicely furbished blending in local elements. Breakfast was excellent and very varied using much local produce. We enjoyed our vacation in this family owned apartment complex with superb vistas of the coastline and a beautiful garden that is meticulously cared after.
