We only stayed one night, but this is a good option for staying in town when you are headed to Calakmul in the morning. The room was clean, cosy and even had a fridge.

Cute rustic bungalows in a Mayan/ Mexican hamlet just 2 minutes drive from the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve gate. Mosquito net, warm shower, comfy bed. Very clean. Lovely family run place which serves breakfast (included) and dinner (pay extra). They accommodated our vegan diet no problem.

Up and coming lodges that were very comfortable.1 of the 3 new bungalows in 2020 we stayed in were well decorated with patio chairs and hammock. King size bed. Good WiF and ACi. Bonus fridge and coffee and coffee maker. Very helpful and friendly owner with plans to expand.
