This is our second time staying here and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive jungle experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

The Last Frontier Boutique Resort ligger på en 100 meter høj bakke med udsigt over Kinabatangan Forest Reserve i Bilit, 2 timers kørsel fra den smukke Sandakan. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

Glem ikke at besøg Kota Kinabalu park og se en Rafflesia i området. 8.5/10

D' Limbai Cottage ligger i Ranau i Sabah-regionen og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis privat parkering. Gæsterne kan benytte terrassen på lodgen. The room itself was clean and tidy. It had an amazing view !! We walked to and from town. Close to everything. Good workout walking up and down the driveway. The staff were very friendly and so helpful with any requests. Loved staying here. Would stay again

Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge ligger i Sandakan i Sabah-regionen og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Der er eget badeværelse med badekar, hårtørrer og tøfler. I like the fact that the auntie feed us with more than we can eat! Comfortable lodge, peaceful and serene place to get away from the bustling cities and work life. Slept like a log during our stay here. The lodges equiped with air conditioning, hot heater, basic amenities..they even have all day coffee tea.

Maglami-lami Water House ligger i Semporna og har havudsigt samt restaurant. Der er eget fuldt udstyret badeværelse med bidet og tøfler. Lodgen har solterrasse. Highly recommend, great stay!

Tampat do Aman ligger i frodige grønne omgivelser i Kg Tiga Papan, 30 km fra Kudat. Denne ejendom tilbyder afhentning mod tillægsgebyr (se venligst hotelreglerne). Howard var en god vært og fortalte meget om området, og kørte os rundt alt efter hvor vi ville hen den dag.
