The staff really go out of their way to make your stay special. The guide is knowledgeable and makes every effort to find memorable wildlife encounters. This is our second time staying here and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive jungle experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. Exeptionally good food, great location and both Fred aswell as his wife are really friendly

Set atop a 100 metre hill overlooking the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve, The Last Frontier Boutique Resort is located in Bilit, and is located a 2 hour drive from the beautiful Sandakan. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

The lodge is amazing and it is location is readily and easily found within the Waze App. Signs to go to the place are easily seen so you wont get lost. Although the small stretch of roads heading to the lodge was rocky and bumpy, it was still a great experience! Location was beautiful and the view is just immaculate. Wonderful and helpful staff! Do prepare some mosquito patches for yourself if you need it. If not, you are good to go! And the parking space is limited, so plan ahead when you are renting a car to drive to this place!

It had an amazing view !! We walked to and from town. Close to everything. Good workout walking up and down the driveway. The staff were very friendly and so helpful with any requests. Loved staying here. Would stay again

Nulu View Cabin ตั้งอยู่ใน Kundasang ของภูมิภาคซาบาห์ และให้บริการที่พักพร้อมที่จอดรถส่วนตัวฟรี บางยูนิตมีลานระเบียงและ/หรือระเบียงซึ่งมองเห็นวิวภูเขา ที่พักแห่งนี้มีสวนที่มีบาร์บีคิว... ตอนจอง ดูรูป วิวสวยมาก ในห้องพักเป็นห้องธรรมดา มีเตียงนอน ง่ายๆ ผ้าห่ม ห้องที่พักไม่มีระเบียง แต่ มีหน้าต่างบานเลื่อนขนาดใหญ่ ชมวิว ภูเขาเต็มตาจากห้องพักได้ โรงแรมไม่มีอาหารเช้านะคะ และไม่มี ที่ซื้อ ต้อง ขับลงมาที่ หุบเขา Kundasang ที่ห่าง จาก โรงแรม ราวๆ 2 KM ตอนมาถึง คือ เย็นแล้ว ตั้งใจว่าเอา กระเป๋าเก็บ แล้วค่อย ออกไป หาอาหารเย็นทาน แต่ว่า ทางขึ้น ลง บ้านพักเป็น ถนนเล็กๆชันมากๆ ระยะ สัก 300-400 เมตร และฝนตก ถนนลื่น เลย ไม่อาจ ลงไป หาอาหารเย็น เราไม่มีข้อมูล ไม่ได้เตรียมอาหารมาเลย ขณะที่ นักท่องเที่ยวชาวมาเลเซีย เขา เตรียมวัตถุดิบมาพร้อม เพื่อปรุงอาหารง่ายๆ ทานกัน เพราะโรงแรม มี ครัว และอุปกรณ์ให้พร้อม ข้อนี้ ดีมากๆ แต่ทางโรงแรม มีบะหมี่กึ่งสำเร็จรูปขายให้ เราจึง ซื้อ มาทาน เป็น มื้อ เย็น และเจ้าของโรงแรม ใจดีมาก มาถาม ว่าเรา จะเอาอะไรเพิ่มเติมไหม เธอกำลังจะขับรถไปที่หุบเขา ด้านล่าง เราจึง ขอ เธอ ซื้อไก่ย่างสำหรับสองคน เธอซื้อมาให้ และ ไม่คิดเงินเราอีก ต้องขอบคุณใน น้ำใจไมตรี ที่ดียิ่ง

I like the fact that the auntie feed us with more than we can eat! Comfortable lodge, peaceful and serene place to get away from the bustling cities and work life. Slept like a log during our stay here. The lodges equiped with air conditioning, hot heater, basic amenities..they even have all day coffee tea.

Howard has created a beautiful lodge intertwined with the surrounding environment, going above and beyond for any guests needs, the wildlife reserve he has created is fantastic for bird spotting and if you're lucky enough to be there when he does his edible and medicinal plants tour and traditional rungus lunch don't hesitate.
