Wild Waves Surf-House ligger i Popoyo i Rivas-regionen, tæt på Popoyo Beach. Der tilbydes indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. This was one of my favorite stays in Nicaragua. The location was so peaceful and quiet for sleeping but there are also several places nearby to grab a drink. The owner Gianny was so so kind and him or his lovely staff/family were there if you needed anything. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking and was spotlessly clean. I loved that the fruit/veg truck drove by here selling things every other day. I really enjoyed the free coffee every morning and loved the atmosphere of this place, great for solo travelers and meeting other people. Beautiful garden with hammocks and it was right on the beach. Compared to other places in the area with a private room with en-suite this was really the best value for your money

This is one of my favorite lodgings during my long travels through Central America. The hosts were exceptional, the meals exquisite, and the space wonderful. The nature surrounding the lodge was an amazing respite from the busy cities. Waking to the sound of howler monkeys and the waves along the shores of Lake Cocibolca was magical.

Hacienda & Ecolodge Morgan's Rock ligger i San Juan del Sur-bugten og har legeplads, udendørs pool og privat strandområde 1,5 km derfra. The property is just incredible. The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.

La Bambouseraie ligger i Balgue, under 16 km fra Maderas Vulkan, og har en gård med permakultur og eksotisk frugtskov. Samtlige ferieboliger har balkon med udsigt over haven. The hosts are lovely people, passionate about nature and their projects at la bambouseraie. The breakfasts were made on the spot and deliciously fresh, and the house we stayed in had the most beautiful view to enjoy in hammocks. Attention to details, fresh water, cleaning of the room every day... Nothing to say!

99 Surf Lodge ligger mindre end 1 km fra Santana Strand og tilbyder udendørs swimmingpool, fitnesscenter samt værelser med aircondition, terrasse og gratis wi-fi. We had the most wonderful stay at 99 Surflodge. The accommodation is stunning, the food is delicious and the staff is really friendly! The rooms are really comfortable, I would definitely recommend staying here!

Totoco Eco-Project ligger i Balgue og har udendørs swimmingpool og restaurant. Der er gratis WiFi på fællesområderne. Feriehytterne har træmøbler, myggenet og ventilator. Guiden Junior som hotellet anbefalede. Jeg havde en fremragende tur med ham op på Maderas vulkanen. Udsigten fra restaurant, pool og terrasse.

Maderas-vulkanen ligger 6,3 km fra lodgen. everything! it was a beautiful space, the bed was comfy, the staff were kind, the breakfast (at additional cost of a reasonable $5) was awesome, it was a great location, the “in nature” feel was perfect and the VIEW!! amazing
