All units come with a terrace with mountain views, a kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with shower. A microwave, a stovetop and toaster are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Finca Ometepe was the highlight of our visit to Isla Ometepe! We enjoyed the warm hospitality of our hosts, Hanna and Hakan, who welcomed us to their home, shared their food, showed us around the farm and made us feel at home!. It was a very special experience for all of us, we had never experienced something similar on our travels before. We picked organic greens for salad together, participated in milking the goats, searching for eggs, processing Cacao and Cafe grown on the farm, enjoyed making our own pizza in their clay oven, and baking the most delicious brownies from their cacao (and recipe!). The farm is beautiful and relaxed, the casita has comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and spacious outdoor dining area with hammocks to relax in. Breakfasts where homemade, yummy and varied, and on top of all of these, hauler monkeys visited nearby every morning!

A private beach area can be found at the lodge, along with a garden. Gianni is a brilliant host, super friendly with fun chat and very helpful. Norlan the housekeeper is also a lovely guy. The room was comfortable and clean (it was also cleaned a couple times during our stay), the kitchen is really good (fresh coffee every morning!), there are hammocks and tables outside for hanging during the heat of the day. The location is excellent - just off the beach, near the only two shops in Popoyo, next to several restaurants and opposite a board rental place. Easy access to the reef break (about 10-15mins walk), a bit longer to Beginners Bay. Wifi wasn’t great in our room but fine in the communal spaces. Great vibes, wish we could have stayed longer!

Offering a restaurant and a bar, Ecolodge Blue Morpho is located 8 km from Cardenas, only 150 metres from the shore of Lago Nicaragua. This ecotourist destination offers an expansive garden with native animals. This is one of my favorite lodgings during my long travels through Central America. The hosts were exceptional, the meals exquisite, and the space wonderful. The nature surrounding the lodge was an amazing respite from the busy cities. Waking to the sound of howler monkeys and the waves along the shores of Lake Cocibolca was magical.

Situated in San Juan del Sur Bay, Hacienda & Ecolodge Morgan’s Rock has a children’s playground, outdoor pool, and a private beach area 1.5 km away.

Augusto C. Sandino International Airport is 2 hours’ drive from Hacienda & Ecolodge Morgan’s Rock and the city of Granada is 1 hour and 20 minutes’ drive away. The property is just incredible. The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.

Volcano cabins - La Bambouseraie, jungle cabins Ometepe offers a terrace. nice experience, feels like sleeping in a tree house, surrounded by the jungle.

Situated less than 1 km from Santana Beach, 99 Surf Lodge offers an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi.

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving American, Australian and Asian cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. We had the most wonderful stay at 99 Surflodge. The accommodation is stunning, the food is delicious and the staff is really friendly! The rooms are really comfortable, I would definitely recommend staying here!

The bungalows offer wooden furniture, mosquito net and a fan. Private bathrooms come with a shower. Some cabins have flush toilets while others are fitted with dry compost toilets. The property is an off-grid Eco-lodge in the middle of the tropical forest and functions using renewable energy. we loved the location on the edge of the cloud forest. we loved listening to the howler monkeys and birds in the morning.. the large eating living space with open sides and palm tress roof was beautiful and perfect for our family of 3 generations. Great food, incredibly efficient we will be back

Maderas Volcano is 6.3 km from the lodge. everything! it was a beautiful space, the bed was comfy, the staff were kind, the breakfast (at additional cost of a reasonable $5) was awesome, it was a great location, the “in nature” feel was perfect and the VIEW!! amazing
