Set on 26 acres, Amuri Estate Luxury Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi. There is a guest lounge with a fireplace and a large patio offering stunning mountain and river views. This was a highlight of our 3 week journey around the South Island. We would highly recommend going out of your way to stay at Amuri for the quality of the service, the stunning views and the aura of serenity which you cannot help but be taken in by. The cheese platter and wine on arrival was excellent and the kitchen facilities were perfect. Don't even hesitate, book a night (or more!) here and it'll be a highlight for you too.

Amazing location up the hill with outstanding view over the town and towards the mountains. Owners love their job. We felt like we were at home. Good advise on local activities!

It is a nice set up with common kitchen/living room area, also nice to meet other travellers. The room was big and had a comfortable bed. Nice location, with a wonderful beach across the road for walks. You can prepare your own breakfast and there's plenty to choose from.

The mountain /valley/river views are spectacular . The architecturally designed building is striking. It is unforgettable.

Situated on 11 acres and surrounded by expansive gardens, Spires Barn Lodge is located on the outskirts of Christchurch city. Complimentary WiFi and free private parking is available. The environment is very peaceful. The house feels so comfy. The Host was very kind and friendly ☺️. We got everything we needed, a very recommended place to stay! Thank you so much!

Large well stocked kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. The view was of both mountains & water. Location is great. Easy to walk both to Kaikoura & South Bay & other tracks. Our host was very responsive & kind. Should we ever find ourselves in Kaikoura again, we would definitely stay here again.
