The property is conveniently located near to the various activities in the area, which made travelling to and from a breeze! Breakfast was also amazing, and with sheep and alpaca at the property as well, I can’t recommend this stay more!

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Very comfy bed, good bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen and nice lounge to spend the time during the pouring rain. Also: Tina’s massage was amazing! If you have the chance: go for it.

Owner knows so much about the region and the location if perfect for all outings in and around tongariro area.

Kings Ohakune ligger 2 minutters gang fra Ohakune Station og 3 minutters gang fra starten af Ohakune Mountain Road. Perfect location. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice and warm. The heater was already on for our arrival. Everything you need for a nice stay. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Couldn't of asked for anything more!! The spa pools were fantastic!!
