Ruapehu Country Lodge is located within a 15-minute drive of Tongariro National Park, home of the world-renowned Tongariro Crossing. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this lodge. Bernie and Marie were absolutely delightful hosts and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The property is conveniently located near to the various activities in the area, which made travelling to and from a breeze! Breakfast was also amazing, and with sheep and alpaca at the property as well, I can’t recommend this stay more!

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Very comfy bed, good bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen and nice lounge to spend the time during the pouring rain. Also: Tina’s massage was amazing! If you have the chance: go for it.

Set in the heart of National Park, Pipers Lodge boasts an onsite bar and restaurant. Guests can socialise in the shared lounge and warm up by the fireplace. Everything is Good and comfy the staff’s their are so friendly and they will assist you right away, they also have free breakfast and also hot coffee and chocolate

Offering a terrace and garden view, Tui Glen is set in Raurimu, 21 km from Taranaki Falls and 27 km from Whakapapa. I found it an amazing property! It's like a little house. I very much enjoyed the stay. The covered deck and the bush were really good.

Alpine Chalets has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in National Park. Perfect location within the National Park, best view of the volcanos (weather dependent) and a very, very kind host.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Pukenui Lodge is situated in National Park in the Manawatu Region. Turangi is 41 km from the property. we love this place, nice beds, friendly staff, love the communcal area as it is spacious and kitchen well equipped. Owner knows so much about the region and the location if perfect for all outings in and around tongariro area.

Featuring amazing views of Mt Ruapehu, 2 hot tubs and a restaurant with a large deck area, Kings Ohakune is 2 minutes’ walk from Ohakune Station and 3 minutes' walk from the start of the Ohakune... Perfect location. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice and warm. The heater was already on for our arrival. Everything you need for a nice stay. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Couldn't of asked for anything more!! The spa pools were fantastic!!
