Rob and Susie greeted us as well as Biscuit and Coco the dogs with open arms which made us feel at home straight away. We stayed in the villa which was beautiful just a nice amount of space and the beds were the best by far having slept in 14 different accommodations on our journey around New Zealand. Rob and Susie are enthusiastic about local produce, Rob is passionate about the local wines that is produced from down the road and Susie grows fruit and vegetables on site. We had 2 evening meals which I highly recommend from plot to plate which was truly amazing and so tasty.

Located on 3000 acres of land opposite Ocean Beach, Wharekauhau Country Estate boasts a day spa, a tennis court and an outdoor pool. We felt absolutely spoiled. We were welcomed with open arms. The staff were outstanding, informatve and very friendly. Although the dinner menu was very limited the quality was 5 star. Accommodation was absolutely immaculate and so comfortable. Will definitely be back even though it was a bit pricey.

Situated on a quiet hillside, Harbour Lodge features an indoor swimming pool, spa pool and sauna. The large guest lounge features an open fire and sweeping views of Wellington Harbour. We loved Harbour Lodge. The personal friendly service with a beautiful view from every room was fantastic. Our hosts were helpful each morning at breakfast with tips and recommendations. Amazing service that I can’t fault anything. Also upgraded for free too. Amazing restaurants (pho viet best Vietnamese Ive ever had!) supermarket and bus stops are a short walk away
