The building is stunningly set on the top of a hill overlooking the bay and the architecture and layout of the lodge is carefully and beautifully integrated with its surroundings. It felt like we were home, but with expansive views of magnificent grounds, the invinity pool, the surrounding hills, islands and sea. Whether sitting quietly on our balcony enjoying the antics of the monkeys in the surrounding trees and wide variety of colourful birds, lounging poolside, or enjoying the most perfect view of the Milky Way at night, it soothed our souls just to be there. Our wonderful hosts Herbie and Erika were most gracious and helpful throughout our stay, from welcoming us on arrival and showing us around, to preparing delicious breakfasts every day, helping us plan our days (visiting the local islands and beaches, dining at the excellent local restaurants) and entertaining us with their stories, their charm and wit. We very much look forward to our next visit.
