Abel gives you a list of birds you can spot around with photos and they are keen to share their knowledge (they are both biologists). We could've stayed for another week, so very peaceful

It's a 30 min or so boat ride from Bocas Town which is what we wanted since Bocas Town has turned into nothing but a party town with extremely loud music till 3-4 in the morning mid week thru the weekend. So it was wonderful. The staff were exceptional and friendly. Alondra went above and beyond for anything we needed. The food was amazing and fresh. They set up dinner each night on our patio for a nice quiet and intimate dinner. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!

We loved the view, the eco aspect, and kayaking through the mangroves. Thank you also to the hosts for being so helpful as Bocas takes a bit of know-how for a first-timer - they helped us book tours and water taxis. Wish we'd had more time just to relax and enjoy their gorgeous property!

Service unbelievable! We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every minute there, we would stay even longer there. It’s a very social place, they have a different activity each day and all the staff are super friendly and always there to help you! We stayed in a private room that had a well equipped kitchen, which was a nice touch since you have so many options for food around the hostel! You also get a free scooter for one day if you are staying in a private room which is the best way to go around the island and explore at your own pace! I would also suggest renting a quad + jungle from the hostel! It’s so much fun and you are llitterally riding in the jungle with so many spots to stop for a swim in crystal clear water!!!!

The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Ecolodge Cabinas offers accommodation in Big Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon, this property uses solar panels. Bocas Town is 5 km from the property. Free WiFi is available in the shared lounging areas. The place is amazing! If you are looking for nature, choose this lodge. Since this is eco lodge, you’d find most of furniture is made of wood and stone, which adds a different atmosphere. There are 3 beaches the lodge - one little private cove, second at the entrance of the lodge and the biggest beach on the island is 300 meters away.

Palmar Beach Lodge is located on the famous Red Frog Beach, within walking distance of the Bastimentos National Marine Park. The property features an on-site bar, restaurant, and a lounge. Wi-Fi is available for all guests. Daily yoga classes are offered in the on-site studio. It's extremely good. Best place in Bocas del Toro if you want jungle and beach. The tent was super comfy and chill during the night. The restaurant food is SUPER GOOD. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Easy to book tours. Also, shared bathrooms are very good too with hot water and toiletries.
