Very easy access and very friendly for early arrivals that you could checkin immediately and start your venture to the jungle as soon as possible. We had wonderful two days there that everything was beyond my expectations. The suite with balcony to river views were superb, very comfortable and I could stay there all day. The staffs there were friendly and welcoming. The inclusive activities were well organised and interesting! I would love to comeback.

The hosts - Emanuel and Maricela, the kids and the parrot Antonia 🙂, are the best possible hosts. Always smiling, helpful, paying attention to every small detail. Emanuel cooked for us and the food was fresh from their farm. He also organized all our tours in the jungle. The huts at the river are very cute, with terraces, bathrooms, comfortable beds from which you have a direct view to the river day and night. Every day the hosts were cleaning. At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. There is nothing you won’t love about this place. It’s in the middle of the jungle so you will be able to enjoy the sounds of the birds, monkeys and other animals. Vanessa (the owner) really takes care of you! The food is great and very healthy. You will be able to taste new fruits, vegan dishes and wonderful desert. Even if you are not a yoga person, you should really try a yoga lesson with Vanessa, especially recreational yoga. It’s a must! Now there is also a small pool so you will be able to enjoy the place even more!

Pick up and drop off from airport or bus station is provided for free, has to contact property for arrengments. Is a 20 min boat ride from El Triunfo Port to the lodge. The staff was amazingly friendly. We loved our tours and guide as well. The food was delicious.

All units include a seating area. Some units feature a balcony and/or patio. There is a private bathroom with a bath in each unit. Towels are provided. Beautiful property in the middle of the jungle. We looked at several other lodges but picked this one for it's more modern amenities. This is an all inclusive lodge. Rooms are screened in (not all lodges are) with 5500 acres to themselves. The cost includes daily excursions around the many trails that they created for the guests leisure. The trails take you in to the depth of the jungle while experiencing the beauty that it offers - monkeys, birds, tarantulas, snakes etc. Guilds were extremely knowledgeable and kind. always on the lookout for things to see. Things to consider - bug spray - the local ones work better than the US ones that we brought. Clothing - while hiking - long airy pants and quick dry long (or short) shirts will make your hike more enjoyable. I brought 2 but I wish I had 4-5. Best room is called "Tarzan". We stayed in "Tucan" which was OK but close to other visitors. Hard to describe but you can hear anyone in proximity to your room since it is all screened in. Staff was SUPER hard working. They were on their feet from 4 am to 10 pm daily. I have to tip my hand to these folks, simply incredible! 10 thumbs up for the staff

Rooms are comfortable with electricity 3 times per day. Bathrooms are shared and provide an eco-friendly toiletries kit. The total package is a wonderful experience. From the long-boat journey to the field excursions, all well run. The accommodation is superb when you consider where it is in a jungle setting. A quality experience. The staff are superb and the facilities well maintained in a very hot, wet and humid setting. Its the little things like gum boots and well placed umbrellas that make for a well thoughtout experience. Then you add on the wildlife which is everywhere!!

The rooms and bungalows provide rustic comfort, with dark wood floors and furniture. Each comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries, and forest or oxbow lake views. There is also a fan. Excursions were excellent and part of what makes the experience of the stay. The food was decent quality and the hotel was very generous with its meals. The seats outside of the rooms were nice to look at surroundings. Bed was massive and comfy.

Wasai Tambopata Lodge is located in the middle of the Amazon, surrounded by 20 km of protected forest area. Guests are welcome to explore the premises and enjoy the breathtaking views. Wasai Lodge completely exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff were so kind and friendly, the rooms were fabulous right on the river with very comfortable beds. Food was amazing with a huge amount of variety. Our guide, Efrain, was so knowledgeable, engaging, funny and made our trip even more fantastic - he was born to be an Amazon tour guide!! Clem who runs the lodge was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer questions. We felt very safe during our stay. This is an amazing lodge and would highly recommend it!

The lodge offers an outdoor pool. This is a perfect rainforest oasis! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make us comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the pool is a great feature. The bed was comfy and the area super peaceful. The ideal place to relax. In addition, they have a baby monkey they rescued who is amazing! So playful and friendly - an unexpected highlight!
