There is a microwave, toaster and a coffee machine in each unit, along with a sitting and dining area. Huge room, with a well-equipped kitchenette and enormous bathroom. Exceeded my expectations and was a very comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. A mile outside Haines (which is a great little town) along some rough roads, but really peaceful and secluded. So glad I stayed!

Set in a secluded forested area with numerous fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities nearby, Talkeetna Wilderness Lodge & Cabin Rentals is located in Sunshine, Alaska and is 15 minutes' drive from Talkeetna. An outdoor fire pit, free firewood, and free WiFi access are featured at this lodge. The owners were great, very welcoming. In the evening they started a bonfire and the kids were able to roast marshmallows and we were able to relax with great conversation. The cabin was much nicer then I expected and very clean, having a small kitchenette was perfect for our family. They provided a full coffee maker with coffee, loved our stay and would stay here again.
