Dinner and breakfast were both very good. The owner accepted payment as I could pay. Employees I came in contact with were all pleasant and professional. The views of the water from the room, the restaurant and from the grounds, the were magnificent!

The motel owners were very kind and helpful with local recommendations as well. We got a smokin' deal on our stay as well and most certainly will encourage all of our family and friends to stay here when they are in the area. Bed linen and towels were of excellent quality and a new bath/shower unit provided plenty of hot water. Vince was very friendly and helpful.

Our room had two beds and was spacious, with views of the lake. It looks as it has been recently painted and was clean. There was a fridge, which was useful and a coffee machine, which we didn't use. The location was excellent, a short walk to town. There was plenty of free parking.

Spacious bathroom and full tub shower was very clean, all towels provided. pull out futon is comfortable and sheets were provided. Beds very comfortable. Decent wifi available compared to other motels in Cape Breton but not super fast. Nice flatscreen TV with satellite. Spacious bedrooms. Manager Roland was very friendly.
