It was the feet temperature in the room, the bed was wonderful to sleep on, it was very clean, and the view is spectacular even in a rainy day. I like that you can park your car right in front of your room. The check in is fast and the owner was lovely. I also like that there was a four pot coffee maker in the room. It had a perfect location for the ferry.

I spent the night here as a stopping place before getting on the ferry to Newfoundland. It was also really foggy when I was here, so I can't really comment on the surrounding area, but I gather it's beautiful, as it is Cape Breton Island. Definitely worth the stay if you're looking for a place along the highway. The restaurant next door was also good and convenient.JesseSolo traveller

The motel has a beautiful view, the rooms are impeccably clean and the owner operators are some of the nicest people we have ever met.
