The hotel was homely and had all facilities we needed. We were greeted with fresh muffins by the proprietor who ensured the unit was to our liking. Heating was more than adequate for the weather. Given other accommodation options in the Catlins were scarce, we were more than happy to find such a good motel.

The unit was new and super clean, fully equipped kitchen, they pay attention to many details and overall it’s just cosy. The manager through the phone was very friendly, the heater was on when we arrived late:) super affectionate cat accompanied us during the morning and amazing red sky during sunrise. Overall very peaceful and calm place:)

It was very well equipped with a great kitchen and everything you could need for a short stay. The area was convenient and check in/ check out process was easy and no problem.
