Ens vam allotjar a finals d'agost de 2023 en un apartament d'una habitació malgrat que teníem una reserva d'un estudi doble. Aquesta millora ens la van oferir de franc nomes arribar. L'apartament era gran i confortable. La cuina de l'apartament era senzilla però funcional, amb tot el necessari, com la sala d'estar i el menjador. El motel és molt aprop del llac (a 50 metres del passeig de davant del llac) i és un entorn molt tranquil i agradable. El nostre amfitrió, en John, va ser molt amable i servicial en tot moment. Ens va informar de les activitats i restaurants de la zona i va fer tot el possible per fer de la nostra estada la millor experiència. Vam estar molt a gust malgrat només ser-hi dos nits. Tornaríem a allotjar-nos aquí si tornéssim a Te Anau. Si teniu pensat fer el creuer a Milford Sound tingueu en compte que per mal temps es pot tancar la carretera fins allà (risc d'allaus) i us el poden anul·lar. És el que ens va passar a nosaltres (ens van tornar els diners sense problemes però no vam poder fer el creuer). Us recomano que reserveu dos dies sencers a Te Anau i reserveu el primer dia pel creuer. D'aquesta manera, si us l'anul·len el primer dia, potser podeu anar-hi el segon.

We arrived for three nights at this motel, and from the moment we arrived we were shocked, first of all a couple with a slant welcomed us with a smile and a desire to help, immediately she wanted to open the door for us and waited until we finished registering and booking the cruise. All our difficulties were received with a smile, the room is very clean and equipped. No words, excellent value for the price.

A well maintained motel in a good position, the unit was well equipped for food prep and staff were so helpful and cheerful. Our superior unit had a woodfired hot tub in the rear courtyard which the staff had lit before our arrival so was ready whenever we wanted to use it.
