Nice area. Me and fiancé stayed with no issues. Cute nice area surrounded us.Good bed for couples to make love in.No gun shooting on New Year were heard. Since we stayed during the ball drop 12/31/2023-1/2024.No bugs or smell.

What more do you want. I watched the Allen Park Motor Lodge being built in the late 50's and many of us kinds from the neighborhood swam in the pool the the first season. When I am in town I stay at the Allen Park Motor Lodge because it is like coming home.

I grew up four blocks from its location and stayed and swam many times. In recent years I make it my "home away from home" when I am in the greater Detroit area and am always pleased with the cleanliness, comfort and convinence they provide. Loved the chaise long in the bedroom and HBO on the TV. Breakfast was excellent with friendly and approachable staff and a light and airy area in which to eat.
