Beautiful and reclusive. Lovely walk along the lagoon to American River. Great fire. Good coffee machine. Cosy. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Comfortable beds.

The location was perfect. Close to the water and jetty. Walking distance to PO and General Store where good coffee could be obtained.

We had a garden-view room with two double beds and a nice bathroom. I liked the aesthetics of the room. In the room, there was also a fridge and a kitchen sink but no microwave - which would have been useful since many places in Kangaroo Island close early for dinner. Near the motel, there are a few cafes and restaurants and a nice seafront walk. We arrived late so we had to arrange for a late check-in so our keys were left in a lockbox with instructions sent in an email.

Efficiently run motel. Excellent cleaning service.

Stayed with a friend and we had a double bed each which was great, you don’t often find that. Free parking. Lovely decor, very clean.

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, easy check in process and great location. This motel kicks the “motels are outdated” stigma out the window. The styling of the rooms was gorgeous & had a homey feel, all the amenities worked so well and the small touches like nice tea bags & sustainable coffee pods was lovely. We will be back.
