Very quiet so great night’s sleep.

It is ideally located for fishing, cycling and gliding. Owner is very kind to lend us bike, olive oil, and vinegar for short-distance trips and cooking in the kitchen of the room. The property is well-equipped with basically whatever you need! Check-in was also speedy and owner as always gave a bottle of milk though we are lactose intolerant.

The units in the motel are equipped with a kettle. Every room has air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, and certain units at Twizel Central Studio Accommodation have a garden view. At the accommodation rooms include bed linen and towels. We went to stay at Twizel central after a long day of hiking at Mount Cook. Requested to check in 7-8pm after the standard check in time and host was ok with it as she lives on site. It was Cleanest accommodation we stayed in NZ. Huge room and bathroom, clean sheets for 3 adults - 1 Queen bed and 1 single bed. Can tell the host have put in effort and care into property. Thank you so much for your hospitality, will recommend to our friends visiting and return to stay if we ever come back to Twizel!

Conveniently located next to a historical pub and restaurant, Mt Dobson Motel offers self-catering accommodation with unlimited free WiFi. The motel is set in a garden with outdoor seating and BBQ facilities. Close to lake tekapo (20 minutes), but nice and quiet.lake Tekapo is way too touristy!

Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Guests enjoy free WiFi and views of the surrounding Rollesby Range and Mt Burgess. We spent just one night in this motel on our way to Christchurch and we rate it very highly. The unit was cosy and warm, the bed very comfortable and we slept well. The hosts are friedly and welcoming. It was extremely good value!
