Clean, modern, very comfortable, quiet, and friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay as easy as possible after our plane was delayed and we arrived late.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The owner of this property is at the reception and is a super friendly and helpful lad. We had reserved 1 one-bedroom apartment and 2 studio units and the owner was kind enough to upgrade all of our rooms to one-bedroom units free of charge. Highly recommended place of stay in Nelson!

We were given a free upgrade to an access room on the ground floor. Huge rooms and very well appointed. Bathroom had spa bath. Kitchen had everything and a full sized fridge. Beds were super comfy and I even liked the pillows :) Great location for walking along the river or up to the "Centre of NZ" as well as several other walks. 5 minutes to Countdown. Didn't actually walk into the city centre, but I know it was close as was the Suter Gallery and Queens Gardens. Fabulous hotel, great location.

We received really lovely customer service from Yuki - thank you. Comfy bed, super clean and cosy - a great place to stay and the undercover parking was appreciated. We felt very welcome on our short stay at Riverlodge Motel.

Best Motor lodge we have stayed at. Not only was it quiet which is something a lot of motor lodges fail to be. But it also had the best coffee I’ve managed to find since we started travelling from Auckland. The spar bath was just brilliant. Had a few such spar baths over the previous 3 weeks and this was hands down the best. Parking was good. Distance to centre and shops was a short walk. Staff were great. Very much worth staying here. Just make sure you get the spar bath room :)

It was an awesome view up on the top deck. Nice colour motel and closer to shops and restaurants and pubs & beach . I love the Spa more especially the kawakawa hair shampoo & conditioner the best I’ve used in my hair loved it definitely coming back again thank you ☺️

Beaches Nelson receives high praise for its outstanding hospitality and amenities. The reception lady was exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome upon arrival. The clean and spacious unit, complete with a relaxing spa bath and a charming balcony, contributed to a lovely stay. Despite its location on a main road, the motel was remarkably quiet at night, adding to the overall tranquility of the experience.

We stayed only one nignt at the Green motel. The room was ok, all you want for one night stay. The gay at the reception was friendly and flexible. The motel is conviently located close to the airport of Nelson (only 20 min walk).

Riverlodge motel is situated just a few minutes walk from Nelson town centre. The room was sizable and on the first floor which meant some heavy lifting of luggage. There were a few cars in the car park already so we decided to leave the car on the road outside. We had a meal in the town so other than tea and breakfast didn’t make extensive use of the facilities which were more than adequate for a one night stay.
