Located in Ushuaia, 3.5 km from Encerrada Bay, Hotel Campanilla provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. First of all, I would come back again just for Karina and her family who own and run this hotel. It was a nice place, the rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and basic toiletries were provided. Karina spent a long time with our group helping with directions, taxis and really anything else we needed. They even did our laundry for us. They were the sweetest people ever and I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s located on the other side of Ushuaia, so closer to the national park side and not really the town. But it’s honestly worth it.

Set in a charming wooden house 400 metres from Ushuaia’s tourist information office, Los Calafates Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. A continental breakfast is served daily. Very warm, clean and comfortable. This is a family owned hotel and they'll go out of their way to help you out with planning trips and answering questions. Location is a big plus if you're not planning to drive as it's right in the city center.

My partner and I had an amazing time at Las Hayas. The resort was simply amazing! Both people, facilities, and services were top line. The staff was super friendly, approachable, and helpful. You can tell they really strive to make you feel welcome and comfortable and deliver a great service. They helped us call taxis, recommended places to visit, coordinated trips and activities to do, and even borrowed trekking sticks that came in handy. The Spa was great. We went every day, to enjoy a combination of the outdoor jacuzzi, indoor jacuzzi, climatized pool, and dry sauna. We didn't get to try the massage. The resort has a gym that is well equipped. The buffet breakfast is very generous and has a large variety of things to try. The restaurant had a delicious menu, and affordable prices for the quality of food you get. The room was of a good size. The bed was very very comfortable (I loved the pillows too!). Our room had a great view over the city and sea. Room service came every day to clean, vacuum, make the bed, and change towels (if you want to) and bathroom products. They’ve also left a brand new 2L water bottle every day for us to drink, as the running water is sourced from natural meltwater (water that comes from ice and glaciers on the top of the mountains) which is good for sustainability perspective, but not recommended for human consumption. In summary, we had an absolutely great experience at Las Hayas and we recommend it 100%!

The rooms are very comfortable, well equipped, organized, good wifi connection, overall it is a great place. Also, it has a great restaurant with local dishes and the breakfast is very good. Since the hotel is outside the city, it offers for free daily transfers to the city center almost every 2 hours from 9am up to 8pm. As a result, you can have the chance to stay in a place with great views that is well connected to the city center.

Upon arriving in Ushuaia at 9 am, a short ride from the airport brought me to the hotel, where the staff warmly greeted me and assisted with my luggage. The welcoming touch of hot chocolate set the tone for a delightful stay. Check-in was seamless, and I was invited to enjoy a complimentary drink and breakfast since it was still early. Although I passed on the drink, the breakfast spread was delicious, especially the homemade lemonade. After breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised to find my room ready. Room was spacious and super clean! A quick shower later, I was prepared to explore the area. The hotel's concierge was incredibly helpful, securing a spot for a trip to a Martillo (Pinguin) island the next day and offering tips for my stay. My first adventure was a hike to lagoon Esmeralda. Despite warnings of muddy conditions, the experience was exceptional, with stunning scenery. The hotel staff had thoughtfully prepared me for this hike, ensuring I had all the necessary gear and sandwiches. Returning from the hike, I indulged in the hotel's spa facilities, enjoying the jacuzzi and infinity pool with views of the Beagle channel and mountains. Despite the hotel's distance from the city center, transport (shuttle bus and Uber) was convenient and affordable. Hotel's spa facilities provided much-needed relaxation after my daily long hikes. On my final day, following a recommendation, I hiked to a glacier, enjoying spectacular views and concluding the trip with a delightful meal of local cuisine. Leaving was difficult, but the memories of this incredible journey will stay with me forever. Huge thank you to Ivan, Maria, Milena, Luciana, Antonella, Leonel, Michaela and the rest of the wonderful crew for making my stay unforgettable.
