Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodations located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. Breakfast had too much fruit blends. Orange or pineapple would have been better. Location brilliant 👏.

Rangiriri Vacay offers accommodations in Amuri, a 18-minute walk from Aitutaki Beach. This vacation home provides free private parking and free shuttle service. Kura is the ultimate host! We were welcomed with a traditional flower garland and were shown the island before we were dropped off at Rangiriri Vacay. The unit is all you need for a nice stay in Aitutaki it's well centred in town and was very clean. We even had fresh coconuts waiting for us and the room had bottled water and papayas. Kura went above and beyond in also helping us rent scooters and driving us to the rental place. We're keen on coming back some day and we will 100% check availability at Rangiriri for that trip.

Located in Amuri in the Aitutaki region and Aitutaki Beach reachable within a 9-minute walk, Sunny Beach Lodge has accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. Where do I even start… Nik is by far the best host we have ever had in all our years of travel! He checks in with you everyday to make sure you are having the best time possible. If you need anything- he says “leave it to me” and takes care of it all! He went above and beyond to help us find out important information when we ran into issues with our flights home. I can truly say that he is one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and we cannot thank him enough for making us feel like family! We were also lucky enough to be able to upgrade from the garden units to one of the beach front bungalows for 4 out of the 5 nights of our stay - which was fantastic! The amenities at Sunny Beach Lodge go on and on: Free airport transportation, free wifi, free toiletries, free use of kayaks and bicycles, and a laundry service! It is also located right next to a convenience/takeaway store, and a 24 hour store that sells food and alcohol a short walk away! I could go on and on about how great this place is - so please, do yourself a favour, and stay here when you find yourself in the paradise that is Aitutaki! You won’t regret it! Thank you again, Nik, and see you next time!

Our stay at Tai Marino was amazing, absolutely perfect. Vaea and Kii are perfect hosts, there when you needed them and not when you didn't. Vaea helped organise bookings, picked us up from the airport and Kii took us out on a relaxing and utterly enjoyable lagoon cruise. lunch provided by Vaea. Both generously shared their love and knowledge of their home and made us feel very welcome. We could not find one fault even if we tried.

Small island paradise. Quiet place, but there is fishing, kayaking, swimming snorkeling and good food. Very friendly people. This place is a true treasure. Everyone needs to go there once in their lifetime. This is Island where CBS Survivor Cook Islands filmed [castaways were on an islet in the lagoon--the crew stayed on Aitutaki]. This is an old fashioned paradise. NO fast food, but plenty of great food. Prices here are reasonable. Also take the Vaka cruise of the lagoon.
We wanted to eat well, go snorkelling and kayaking without having to spend lots of money on day excursions. This proved nearly impossible to do. I follow a vegan diet which is not an option on Aitutaki as everything is based around animal products including 'dairy'. My only options were chips (unfortunately salad usually came pre-made with mayonnaise). We did hire a water taxi via Mona Taxis which was wonderful. The owner, Daniel and his wife Lorena were great and took us to a secluded snorkelling spot and then on to One-Foot Island for the rest of the day. It cost $70 per person which was a lot cheaper than the other day cruises on offer which run at approximately $150 pp. I'm really glad we opted for Mona Taxis because we got special treatment and didn't have to share our day with lots of other people (and their children) as well as food that didn't meet our dietary requirements (Vegan), so we were able to self-cater.
Right on the beach with a lovely sunset view. Great facilities in the kitchen and bathroom, which were new and very nicely done. This place is nicer than the photos might suggest. Great breakfast with extra care re our gluten free diet requirements. Lovely hammock on the beach in the shade. Truely wonderful hostess, even by Aitutaki standards.

Kura was a great host! She met us at the airport & took us to their place. We loved the apartment-cabin, it was spacious & very well equipped with everything we needed! We loved Aitutaki. 😎👍
Loved the location and hotel in Aitutaki. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, always happy to see us and give advice. Beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel.
Everything ;))) The best hotel on Aitutaki, the best personnel Awesome viewings, delicious meals
From the moment we were collected from the airport to the day we left, we were treated as special and valued guests. The villas are exceptionally well-appointed and comfortable. While they're luxurious, they still feel like "home". A difficult thing to achieve, but Aitutaki Escape has managed to do this. Thomas and his team made every effort to make our stay memorable. We are grateful for their efforts to help us - from a delicious breakfast delivered every morning, arranging a hire car , arranging lagoon tours and helping us find somewhere to eat in the evening. The private pools are a bonus, and we made good use of them - especially in the evenings. We would highly recommend Aitutaki Escape and look forward to returning one day.
Clean and tidy! Secluded and private.
The most relaxing, scenic and charming place I’ve been in my two years of traveling around the world… Highly recommend this wonderfully enchanted place…
Idyllic beachfront location with only 8 large detached chalets. Well equipped. Lovely breakfast provided by the pool. Very relaxed ambiance with so few guests - we were often the only people on the beach. Lagoon is shallow but OK for swimming with plentiful fish. Provision of bicycles, e-scooters and 2 electric golf carts make it easy to get around this small island.
The host Tamara and her family were very helpful and hospitable from when I arrived till I departed. The island was busy this particular week and they helped with local places for food and entertainment.
Gorgeous location...very handy to eateries & bars Lagoon on your doorstep. Do as much or as little as you want too...super helpful hosts
