Great breakfast, location is 15/20 minutes walk to Center by well lit roads at night but this makes it a quiet but friendly place. Fantastic set up with really clean modern facilities and host JP and his staff make you feel really welcome.it really is 10 out of 10. Excellent bird and wildlife in and around the lodge.

The menu has uniquely delicious, wholesome offerings, including some of the best bread, tapas, and smoothies I've ever had. The gardens provide a peaceful, beautiful oasis, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. And last but not least, the owners are exceptionally helpful, lovely people.

I travel a lot and I don't think I've met friendlier or more helpful hosts at this hotel. Due to a shortage of rental cars throughout Costa Rica, I was without transportation when I arrived at the hotel. Jeffrey and Shirley gave me a ride to downtown Tamarindo and even took time from their busy schedule to provide a personal tour of the town. Shirley even arranged an Uber taxi for me to travel to my next stop at Coco Beach. They are renovating the hotel and it is now modern, clean and reasonably priced.

Everything was of a really high standard, clean, well looked after and tastefully designed. Beautiful wooden house, nice bathroom (good shower), very comfortable beds and a small but perfectly functional kitchen. We were also treated to some delicious banana cake by the owner. A super pleasant experience!
