Breakfast is just amazing ,room is old fashion but with all the modern accommodations (the bathroom and certainly the shower is fantastic) and food is still with a Scottish accent (we didn’t try their best restaurant) …not to compère with Italian food

Property was easy walk to local attractions (Birnam and Dunkeld) and conveniently driveable to surrounding areas. The two staff/owners I met were really lovely.

Knockendarroch Hotel asub 1,5 hektari suurusel maa-alal, Pitlochry kesklinnast 5-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. The hotel is located on top of the hill of the beautiful town of Pitlochry. We stayed at the attic room, which is big, brighty and with views to the mountains. Everything was perfect: king size and comfortable bed and a little space with sofa and table. We liked the most the big salon on the ground floor of the house with its chimney and chesters, where you can relax just reading or drinking something before the dinner. The breakfast was superb, served on the restaurant, quiet and with nice views to the gardens. We stayed there only for one night in our way to Isle of Skye, but we have liked to have spent more time there!

It was easy to get to and away from the crush of people in busy Pitlochry. There was a very evident personal touch from the staff, who were friendly and made sure we were very comfortable. Breakfast was good (great coffee!) and hot. The house itself was nicely appointed and comfortable - didn’t leave one feeling like you shouldn’t touch anything because it is precious.
