Set in Hegykő, 7.3 km from Esterhazy Castle, Hotel HegiQ - Adults Only Hotel offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

The accommodation was absolutely perfect, we were very satisfied and can recommend it to stay here for some days. The location was amazing and quiet, the room and facilities clean, the breakfast absolutely sufficient, the staff friendly and helpful.

This was a beautiful resort, a little distant from the road for a walking person, so the host went out of her way to ensure I could reach the property without getting lost... talking directly with the local municipal bus driver so I wouldn't get lost, and arranging for a taxi to bring me in to the property and then out and to the nearby village when I left in the morning... at no charge to me.
