I felt like I am a movie star in an old italian film :) Fabulous little hotel at the central town square! I loved arhitecture of the hotel and old style bilinds on the windows - "škure"! Marko was a great host. He recomended boat excursion which was fantastic! He has helped a lot on my way to Virpazar suggesting best directions. Ladies working at the reception and in a restaurant were very nice and polite. They have recomened little antique exibition at the attic of the hotel. My best recommendations for Pelikan hotel!

Ethno house OSOBAK has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Virpazar, 2.6 km from Lake Skadar. Osobak is a wonderful place with lovely, warm-hearted and humorous hosts. The communication via google-translate worked surprisingly well and gave us the opportunity to have some nice conversations about their garden, their cute dogs and the surrounding area. The accommodations is simple but provides everything you need. All the food and wine was homemade and really delicious! We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend Osobak to anybody,who is looking for a relaxing stay with some lovely hosts, making you feel as if you are staying with friends.

Boasting mountain views, S&M Apartments offers accommodation with a private beach area and a balcony, around 21 km from Lake Skadar. Great room in an excellent view. Room is very clean. Owners are very friendly and gave us a lot food. The balcony at the back is a great bonus. as the room is situated on top of a hill, with great vista of the river. There is a nice restaurant nearby. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. 10 out of 10!

Featuring inner courtyard views, Plamenatz studio apartments offers accommodation with patio, around 3.1 km from Lake Skadar. Marko’s place was so special: beautiful location, close to the lake, with a view on the hills and the jingle of goat bells. Do yourself a favour and have dinner there your first night, you will not be disappointed. His mum’s cooking is *phenomenal*, yet to be beat by any restaurant in our eyes after a week in Montenegro. The grilled fish with Dalmatian potatoes and the smoked fish were so good we took the leftovers up to have for lunch the next day. And his homemade wine is genuinely excellent! And the breakfast! Honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. And if you want to do a boat tour, Marko has you covered with a delicious picnic to boot.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, JOCKER is situated in Virpazar. This apartment features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Hosts !! Amazing people!! so approachable. From the first minute you feel like at home. We asked for a dinner at short notice and we really appreciated the effort hosts made to accommodate it for us. Once again : THANK YOU SO MUCH. The dinner was perfect : fish , salad , desserts and wine for 10 euro per person. Unforgettable experience . The accommodation is exceptionally clean ! and it has got everything what you need for self catering. In the fridge you can find some home made products : vine , Rakija etc... plus fruits!! .Sweets and chocolates in the bedroom, hot and cold drinks on arrival. The little garden where you can sit and relax , eat ,drink and enjoy the lake view is an extra bonus. The location is great!!!! within 3 minutes you can reach the food supermarket, local market with all sorts of goods and restaurants. Lake Skadar It is the largest lake in the world so if you want to go on the lake boat cruise it is the best place to stay in as : the owners can take you there for little money or you can buy the ticket for the boat trip in the nearby located offices ( no more than 5 minutes walk from the accommodation) . The area is very peaceful ,so very recommended for mental health wellbeing . For a physical wellbeing too as you can walk ,cycle or drive on remote paths , roads.

Situated 1.2 km from Lake Skadar, Lakeview Apartments Anđela offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden and barbecue facilities. Super nice host, who cooked lovely dinner and breakfast for us. We enjoyed as well the room which was very spacious and clean with nice equipment and a beautiful balcony.

Featuring mountain views, Apartments Nino Skadar lake features accommodation with balcony, around 7.8 km from Lake Skadar. Offering a garden, the property is located within 33 km of Port of Bar. The hosts were very helpful even before we arrived. We had a puncture on route to the property and the host came and collected us and our bags from the roadside. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was simple but good. We were made to feel welcome, what else can you want. Almost forgot to mention the very good home produced wine.
