The mixture of hostal and hotel was a good one. Attention to detail was second to none. Nice small touches made our stay all the more enjoyable. Would definitely return.

Well situated in Mérida, Viva Merida Hotel Boutique has air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden. This 4-star hotel offers a concierge service and a tour desk. This is our favorite hotel on a 14 days 8 different cities road trip in Mexico on the whole Yucatan peninsula. Everything was great, the staff, the breakfast, the hotel looks and style and the location too. The bed on the standard room was a little bit too small for me and my girlfriend, because I'm a bigger muscular guy. The staff guy saw this and he offered to me a bigger room with a bigger bed, double upgrade, because that's an awesome suite for the same price. Everybody and everything is professional. We like it hear and we like Merida.

Beautiful room, great amenities (wonderful saline cave!) and free activities (we truly enjoyed the yoga lesson and the sound healing experience in the cave). The food was also good and the personnel very kind.

Fantastic little cabanas in a quiet area at the edge of town away from the busier centro. My partner and I loved our stay. Reonaldo was a fantastic host! Super attentive and eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. You really notice the attention to detail and design he and his wife put into the property. He has bicycles that he lends out for free to guests which was very helpful to get around town. Breakfast of coffee and fresh fruit and granola was perfect for starting the day. And you can't beat having the beach just a few steps away. Not to mention Celestun is a birding paradise!
