Reina was exceptional, she welcomed us to the hotel and made the most delicious dinner for us, she then woke up extra early to prepare breakfast for us before we hiked the volcano. She makes this place as incredible as it is, thank you Reina !

The private rooms were huge and clean, this place was even nicer than on the pictures, and you can organize your whole trip at their reception, you can rent atvs, bikes. You can get breakfast and dinner, and also snacks at the common area.

El Encanto Garden Hotel ligger i Santa Cruz, 7 minuters promenad från stranden Santo Domingo. Här erbjuds en restaurang och gratis gästparkering. The staff was exceptional. Helped us out with everything we needed. Always friendly and everything was arranged from the accomodation. The view and the location where amazing. After our 3 night reservation we extended our stay with another 4 nights!

Hotel San Juan Ometepe ligger i Altagracia, bara 2,3 km från huvudvägen. Här erbjuds en restaurang och ett privat strandområde. I like the staff and I also like the nature the hotel has , it is very secluded and tranquil , I FELT relax during my stay , I REALLY enjoy the food and the amazing beach lake , the breeze and the wind blowing in my entire body was phenomenal

Located on the beach in the San Fernando, 800meters north of Santo Domingo and 1km south of Santa Cruz,, Xalli Hotel features a sun terrace and views of the lake. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Läget var bra vid en av de bättre stränderna(men väldigt långgrunt).

Lots of outdoor space to relax in hammocks and chairs, and outdoor space to do a workout or yoga if you wanted. Nicely equipped kitchen, and it was nice to see separation of organic food waste and non organic waste. They offer breakfast that you need to order the day before. Very reasonably priced for the quantity (we had a huge omelette with toast for 95 cordoba - roughly $2.50) They offer a locked outdoor parking space for bikes etc They had 24h reception I believe. Staff was super lovely and very willing to answer questions and have conversations. We really enjoyed talking with Hani!

Caballito's Mar ligger i Mérida, 3,6 km från Volcán Maderas, och erbjuder boende med en restaurang, gratis privat parkering och en bar. Väldigt mysigt ställe vid stranden med fantastiskt trevlig personal. Luftkonditioneringen funkade utmärkt!

Cabañas Privadas Dilany ligger i Moyogalpa och erbjuder 3-stjärnigt boende med en trädgård, en restaurang och en bar. - If you are looking for a stay amongst locals, this is the place to go! Alejandro, Xavier and their parents are very friendly and nice people. They are also very patient, so I was able to practice my basic spanish skills :) - If you want, they offer to cook for you. The food was freshly prepared, very tasty and some ingredients, e.g. fruits and beans were even homegrown! - They can arrange different tours for a very reasonable price. Alejandro drove me around the island during an entire day and he was an excellent guide as well as driver!

The staff is very nice and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was clean and spacious. I loved their big hammock outside :)
