Located in Randsverk in the Oppland Region, 46 km from Gålå, Lemonsjø Fjellstue og Hyttegrend features a terrace and views of the mountain. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice deck to sit outside. Bath had a huge bathtub for an after hike soak. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious

Fabulous couple of days at this jewel of a hotel. Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean, every detail thought of and the food was outstanding.

From the parking place to restaurant - all of this countryside looking wooden paradise gives you that feeling of Old Good North. Not far-away-very-cold-north, but another one - natural, wooden and cozy place. It's a bit of mountain guest house style. But this particular one house much more hotel-style place. Everything new, clean. Stylish. Very nice restaurant.

Set in Skjåk, 28 km from The Old Strynefjell Mountain Road, Billingen Seterpensjonat offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. One of the best places i ever stayed in. I miscalculated my driving time, so i was supposed to arrive at 1 a.m. The owner and i found a solution, so i was able to check-in even later, at 2 a.m. Nice family-style hotel, comfy beds, everything looks new, very clean, authentic, stunning vies from windows. Perharps the nicest breakfast i ever had (see photo). Close to famous Geiranger, also it is situated at the entrance of the national nature park.

Skåbu Fjellhotell features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Skåbu. The hotel provides both free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was excellent. Tailor made and personal. This stay was towards the end of the trip after several hikes, white water rafting etc. Hence it was a good way to finalise our trip ( ie relax and have an enjoyable meal).

Villa Fregn features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Ljørdal. The accommodation features ski storage space, as well as a bar and barbecue facilities. Our welcoming was very warm! We were served with coffee and pancakes on the house. Our room was very nice. By reserving the accommodation we thought we should have our own bed linen but that wasn´t the case - everything was ready for our stay. In addition we were offered sauna and hot tub, good relaxation after ten hours travelling and good preparation for skiing in Vasaloppet. We also got very early and hefty breakfast. Despite quite remote location, it was easy to get to the starting point of Vasaloppet because of less traffic from this direction. Atmosphere in Villa Fregn was very cozy and host is really friendly. This place is "pearl in wilderness"!
