I liked the location as it served my purpose of being close to Mount Taranaki. This is the first time I have stayed at a venue out of the city, and it was a different kind of experience. The location had a mysterious aura, and I was very close to nature, which I revel in. The hotel was manned by a husband and wife, who were so caring and kind. They even dropped me at the airport ( 70km away) without charging me a cent, which is something remarkable in the modern world, which is mostly driven by money today.

Fantastic communication from time of booking to departure. The apartment exceeded our expectations and was immaculately presented and very well equiped. Sky TV had many channels to choose from, including Sky Sports (for the rugby!). The mineral bath was very enjoyable to soak in after doing some bush walks close to New Plymouth. The bed was so comfy, we just melted into it. Thank you, Coral for the amazing stay - as there are many more walks to do around Taranaki, we will be back again!

Very good location close to the main trail. Beautiful view of Mt. Taranaki from the window. Quiet vicinity. A nice, spacious and open living room conducive to conversation between guests. Eggs for breakfast (those who have eaten a typical breakfast in New Zealand know that this is not standard)! Very friendly owner. For a small fee, he will be happy to take you anywhere (a big advantage considering the area). Thanks to Goerge's driving style, driving with him is also not boring :)

Location is great. I can see the Taranaki Mount. from the hotel and just beside Countdown! It's pretty near from the egmont visitor center (around 30 minutes driving). The parking lot is wide. I really love that the hotel provided me with several type rubbish bin inside the room so that I could sort my trash into the right bin. The receptionist is very kind, friendly, and understanding.

This was a return visit to a lovely studio apartment. Del and Graeme are great hosts and the accommodation is extremely comfortable and well thought out, with everything you need and more besides. It’s within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops, Pukekura Park and the coastal walkway, and an easy drive to Mt Taranaki and various other places of interest.

The apartment is on the first floor of a barn that sits on top of a hill. Hence the views are spectacular: Mt Taranaki, but also the surrounding hills, in good conditions even Mt Ruapehu. The appartment is huge and has a nice roof terrace. The kitchen has everything you need and comes with fresh eggs and milk. The car can be parked underneath.

Spacious apartment - a real home from home with everything you could possibly need - friendly helpful hosts - spotlessly clean with double glazing a couple of blocks off the main road so very quiet despite being a 5 minute walk into town - will definitely stay again if I'm in Taranaki

One of the best apartments I've ever stayed at. Even though a little bit far from the city, it's absolutely worth it! The place is GORGEOUS!!! So, so, cozy, clean, nice smell everywhere, absolutely wonderful. Will definitely stay here again if ever in Taranaki again!

Great little apartment with all necessary amenities and lovely decor. It feels very "homey" and is the perfect starting point when exploring Mt. Taranaki and the region around. Lovely owners that make sure you feel at home - definite recommendation!

Peter must be the nicest person in all of New Zealand. Beyond accommodating and helped us so much even with the little time we spent there. He made sure everything was good for us. Would love to stay here again if we’re ever in Taranaki.

I had a great stay, it was comfortable and clean and the staff Sophie and Brett were very kind and helpful! Brett was great helping me get to see Mount Taranaki! The hostel was in a great location and felt safe and comfortable.

The room is good and staff is great. We arrived at hotel quite late. (I’m really sorry.) Cozy beds, good kitchen utensils, great location in the middle of city and easy to go to Mt.Taranaki.

Nice room, quiet overlooking the rear street. Turned out to be a better location than expected - close to waterfront and good walks. Good base for exploring Taranaki.
