It was our first time to Pacific Sands Resort; we had a wonderful and relaxing time. The property/facilities are beautiful! It was perfect to be right on the beach-we went there several times daily with our dog to watch the waves and surfers. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Surf Shack is a quaint and tasty spot for quick bite. Loved the fire pits scattered around the property for warming up!! The room was spacious and cozy- we used the fireplace a lot!

From check in to check out, and everyone in between the staff were excellent. So nice and very welcoming. Great location and very relaxing atmosphere. We had a great stay and will definitely come back, probably for longer.

It was off season or low season, the resort is older and could use some maintenance. It appears that the stuff is working hard on this. We had a room with waterfront views and a deck, it was very pleasant, thought it was a good value also. The bed was very comfortable, nice bedding also.

The Bed, though it had a thick foam mattress it was difficult to move around in because one got stuck in it and could not move once in bed. Getting out was a chore and the wood on the side cut into my leg and cause my hip to become bruised and I was unable to walk for two days after our visit at Mackenzie beach resort. The pull out sofa was a farce.
