The breakfast at Playa Roca Ecohotel was amazing! They had the coolest thing ever - plantain pancakes! They were so tasty and different from regular pancakes. I loved every bite! The dinner was even better! We ate tasty seafood, and then we had a bonfire on the beach! The staff was really nice and made everything perfect.

We walked a few times via the beach (15 mins) or the main road during the day (40mins). At night we got a tuk tuk for about 20 thousand COP. - Close to other beach bars. - Staff extremely helpful. - Food is extraordinary. Amazing dinner as well. Breakfast is perfect. - Pool and beach bar with amazing food and drinks. - The resort itself is beautiful, amazing view, loads of birds and squirrels around.

The place looks a bit like a resort, but i paid less for my own room than what others paid for a dormbed in Palomino. Such good value for money! The place is outside the hustle and bustle of Palomino and therefore it's quiet and relaxed. Supergood place to chill and unwind. Near to D1 supermarket and local restaurants. I felt safe walking back alone from the beach at night. The owner and his mum are superfriendly and helpful.

The resort was a little bit down the beach from Palomino town so we were able to enjoy a quieter beach in front of the resort. However, we could still walk down to Palomino town if we wanted to. Walk was ~10 min down the beach. We stayed in a hut on the beach and it was wonderful to wake up to the sounds of birds and waves crashing. Restaurant food and cocktails were tasty.
