A recently renovated guest house in Aswan, Arafa Nubian Guest house offers sun terrace, parking on-site and sports facilities. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and currency exchange for guests.

The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!

The hotel was very nice and situated right beside the Nile river. Food was really good. The staff was very helpful especially Galal and Sarah. Both of them went out of the way to ensure that the stay was comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Aswan and they also arrange trips to Abu Simbel.

The style of the Resort as Nubian Culture. Room was beautiful with a stunning view. The location brings you a unique view and experience, but same time is far away from the city. Overall staff's was friendly.

Aswan surprised us for good - and so did this amazing hotel. It's clear that it was a very luxurious hotel once upon a time, and it still has all of the outstanding service and guest-oriented attitude. The hotel has everything you need, from a restaurant to a small shopping area. You have ATM machines right in the lobby, and the big swimming pool constitutes an amazing view. I will definitely go back here.

Interesting place and it seems it has come a long way from being a deserted island not too long ago, but no Alila like property by any stretch of the imagination. Locally invested and nicely regionally put together materials. What we liked was the room upgrade with direct view of Philae temple. The manager Mohamed who was very friendly and competent. The ecofriendly furnishings and materials throughout the resort. View of Philae temple from restaurant. Food seemed clean and passable if you ate it cooked.

Super nice owner who also organizes trips for you if you want but never pushes you if you don't. (You should though because they are really great! You can have a look at David's Instagram.) He also provided (simple) breakfast with no additional cost. Extremely cheap place, so don't expect luxury but everything you need is there. The tap in our room was broken and we could change our room uncomplicated. They also offer to wash your clothes for free.

Mustafah was a truly special human being. He treated us very well, like family, and he helped us with everything we possibly needed. Everything was modest but extremely clean and we were very comfortable. What the hostel lacks in luxury or decoration is more than amply compensated by the honesty, kindness and professionalism of Mustafah and his staff. Definitely a place to go back to.
