Our stay at African House was the best stay during our six weeks of travelling in Kenya. The beauty of this place has been praised by others and needs no further additions. There is no other place which we have found so conducive to rest and read. We also enjoyed the perfect atmosphere and surroundings at the resort for reflection and conversations. While we dislike most of the resort typical ambiente of beach hotels, African House has a character of its own, away from beach tourism, and we were barely tempted to leave it during the week of our stay there.

The owners were amazing hosts and were really responsive to our needs and super approachable and invested in our stay being as excellent as it could be. We were not entirely happy with an excursion we did and gave feedback on it. The hostess took the initiative to actually rectify it without any expectation from us so it was a lovely surprise.
