If “heaven on earth” would be a place, it would be called Haritha Villas. Having stayed in some of the worlds best Hotels and Resorts around the globe, this might have been one of the best. This Hotel is the perfect place if you want to escape from all the daily routine and stress. A small oasis of well-being with breathtaking views of the Sri Lankan Jungle. The Private Pool Villas are extremely beautiful and very private. There is absolutely no way for anyone to have a sneak peek into your accommodation. The Service including our private Villa Host: Tharanga, was the best we have experienced so far. From planning the most spectacular excursions to giving tips and tricks around the Island, there was no wish left to fulfill. All matters are given an open ear and are immediately implemented. Moreover you do not feel like a customer at Haritha but rather like family. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are all served a-la cart and are of highest quality and standards. If you are looking for fine michelin style food, or simple feel good “soulfood” you will definitely be very happy with all the options they provide you with. No request is left unfulfilled! The General Manager Umby is one of the kindest people we have met, making you feel straight at home and understanding your every need. If you feel the need to go to the beach, the Hotel features a complimentary 1min tuktuk ride to a luxurious partner Hotel that they have arrangements with, so that you can enjoy a fabulous beach if you wish. The only negative part of our stay, was that we did not book the property for a longer period of time and having to leave! I am very much looking forward to returning and booking this little piece of paradise again! We would like to thank the whole team at Haritha Villas + Spa for making our Stay truly special! The hotel is very cozy and has a great design to it with an amazing jungle garden. Stuff was extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this accommodation.

One of best places we were staying during our 2,5 week in Sri Lanka. Very clean, very comfortable. No mold, good working air condition and air ventilation in bathroom. Outside the room place for hanging clothes to get them dry, I very appreciated it in this climate with this humidity. Great place to stay bit longer then one night as we did. Clean pool. Comfortable bed, clean and white bedsheets, desk for makeup, very nice room. Totally recommend. Good location, nearby great massage centre (also recommend!), shops with variety of tropical fruits, and of course - beautiful sandy beaches. I will miss this place! We had wonderful relaxing time there.

Where to start...we've just returned from 16 nights in Sri Lanka, we had planned to stay at Shiva for 5 nights but at the end of our trip decided to return for 4 more nights, the resort was so peaceful and tranquil and the room itself was superb. We had a very comfy bed, a large bathroom with a shower that overlooked the lagoon, a roof terrace above the accommodation and an additional seating area external to the property. Andrea & Shyam are an amazing pair, so friendly, helpful and a delight to be around. Due to the resort having 5 cabanas it never felt crowded, the pool was large enough and you could have your own privacy if you wanted it. We could not have asked for any more, my partner and I agreed it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in, which is a testament to the passion and drive from both Andrea & Shyam.

This was an amazing stay. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful right beside the lake in amongst nature. Our host was awesome and so helpful. The food was incredible too. Definitely our favourite place we stayed during our month long honeymoon.

Amazing place to stay for a short or long time. The owner and staff are amazing. Any question you have, they will assist and help you. Food is also amazing. Territory and rooms are so nice and comfortable. And swimming pool was as perfect as on the picture. Very comfortable to get anywhere on a bike. And the most important, the place is quiet and no one will disturb you during the night.

Talin, the owner picked me up from the Airport in Colombo (for a fair prize) and we drove down to Hikkaduwa. His little Hotel is right at the beach. I had to walk about 10m until my feed touched sand. My room with Aircon and fan was simple but really clean, as well as the bathroom. The food they served in the restaurant was good and I was able to rent a scooter from Talin too (for a really good prize) which was not as worn down as many scooters are here in Sri Lanka. He trustet me and didn't even ask to keep my passport for it, left the gate unlocked so I could get in at night (after partying) and did everything to make my stay really comfortable. He told me, which laundry place was good and where I should not go and never tried to sell me something that I didn't ask for. I can really recommend this place!!!
