great value for money, i loved my stay there. clean room and pool. the owner organized a snack table for the guests during sinhala new year, which was a lovely gesture and generally all staff were lovely. really nice common kitchen (and a cargills 12mins away if you want cook your own meals) and a washing machine is a huge bonus.

Where to start...we've just returned from 16 nights in Sri Lanka, we had planned to stay at Shiva for 5 nights but at the end of our trip decided to return for 4 more nights, the resort was so peaceful and tranquil and the room itself was superb. We had a very comfy bed, a large bathroom with a shower that overlooked the lagoon, a roof terrace above the accommodation and an additional seating area external to the property. Andrea & Shyam are an amazing pair, so friendly, helpful and a delight to be around. Due to the resort having 5 cabanas it never felt crowded, the pool was large enough and you could have your own privacy if you wanted it. We could not have asked for any more, my partner and I agreed it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in, which is a testament to the passion and drive from both Andrea & Shyam.
