If “heaven on earth” would be a place, it would be called Haritha Villas. Having stayed in some of the worlds best Hotels and Resorts around the globe, this might have been one of the best. This Hotel is the perfect place if you want to escape from all the daily routine and stress. A small oasis of well-being with breathtaking views of the Sri Lankan Jungle. The Private Pool Villas are extremely beautiful and very private. There is absolutely no way for anyone to have a sneak peek into your accommodation. The Service including our private Villa Host: Tharanga, was the best we have experienced so far. From planning the most spectacular excursions to giving tips and tricks around the Island, there was no wish left to fulfill. All matters are given an open ear and are immediately implemented. Moreover you do not feel like a customer at Haritha but rather like family. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are all served a-la cart and are of highest quality and standards. If you are looking for fine michelin style food, or simple feel good “soulfood” you will definitely be very happy with all the options they provide you with. No request is left unfulfilled! The General Manager Umby is one of the kindest people we have met, making you feel straight at home and understanding your every need. If you feel the need to go to the beach, the Hotel features a complimentary 1min tuktuk ride to a luxurious partner Hotel that they have arrangements with, so that you can enjoy a fabulous beach if you wish. The only negative part of our stay, was that we did not book the property for a longer period of time and having to leave! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had a welcome juice and unlike other places could take card or cash. The jungle setting and location was quiet a d tranquil and I loved the surroundings. Birds, palm squirrels and the accommodation's dog added to the experience. The room was big and spacious with a back patio area to have drinks and look at the jungle. Tea and coffee and toiletries came with the room, toilet roll. Some places haven't so just thought it was worth mentioning. I loved the outdoor pool and the general outdoor area. I chilled with a book outside.

Where to start...we've just returned from 16 nights in Sri Lanka, we had planned to stay at Shiva for 5 nights but at the end of our trip decided to return for 4 more nights, the resort was so peaceful and tranquil and the room itself was superb. We had a very comfy bed, a large bathroom with a shower that overlooked the lagoon, a roof terrace above the accommodation and an additional seating area external to the property. Andrea & Shyam are an amazing pair, so friendly, helpful and a delight to be around. Due to the resort having 5 cabanas it never felt crowded, the pool was large enough and you could have your own privacy if you wanted it. We could not have asked for any more, my partner and I agreed it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in, which is a testament to the passion and drive from both Andrea & Shyam.

The space is just magical. You'll feel like you're in a private luxury jungle with an incredible view and pool. You can stay here for days indulging in complete relaxation and pleasure. The hosts are super attentive and don't forget to ask for an Sri Lankan breakfast, they are excellent cooks.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Tropical House. They have a super great breakfast, an amazing pool and friendly staff! It is nicely located in a quiet area not far from the main street. We truly enjoyed this wonderful oasis!

Rooms are very elegantly designed. The suite came with a beautiful verandah that had a Jacuzzi and a koi pond. The customer service is very good and polite. The entire resort has a relaxed vibe perfect for a vacation. The food served is delicious with large portions. Cocktails were very good too. The restaurant dining area is next to a garden overlooking the beach. Overall a very enjoyable stay

It was our second time at the hotel. It is very comfortable and clean. Staff is trying their best to accommodate their guests and they are really polite and professional. Location is perfect and the best part of Hikkaduwa beach is right in front of the hotel. Value for money exceeded my expectations. Will definitely go back to this place again.
