Very nice place 13 min out of Semporna, good if you are looking for a peaceful environment and good Wi-Fi for working. Free ride to town which will surely help you covering the taxi cost to and back to the jetty or anywhere else. Grab also deliver food and the owners does cook for their guests under request. The owner/manager is very friendly and nice he will go above and beyond for helping and making you happy! The Bungalow is silent at night and clean. I would also suggest their laundry service which was made properly for a good price. If you don’t mind stay Little far from town this is the best place to be!

We loved the shunde palm resort as it’s out of town and nice and quiet, however it’s close enough to walk to restaurants or for 4rgt you can get a grab into the town centre. The owners are really friendly and arranged a great trip to the islands and sea Gypsies village at a good reasonable price and not with lots of tourists. It was like a private tour. Breakfast was included Location is lovely in the middle of a palm plantation. We are more than happy to recommend shunde palm as a great alternative to staying in the town centre where it is noice. The individual bungalows where super clean and just like they have being renovated, with ac and super good fans. Good wifi

The rooms are these split levels with a loft above where there is a bed and there is one down below in the main room as well. The A/C was good and so was the lighting inside. The room was affordable. We came to snorkel on Mabul Island and didn't want to pay resort prices to stay there so this worked out reasonably well for that.

My room was basic, but was quite large, very clean, and had everything I needed. The value for the dollar is great. Like others said, the grounds are super interesting and filled with orchids.
