We loved everything about Tanote Resort. Our room with its ensuite bathroom and terrace was spacious, clean and comfortable; the swimming pools were super enjoyable and the view over the Tanote Bay and its surroundings was absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing, friendly and welcoming; most come from Myanmar in search for a more hopeful future. A very BIG THANK YOU to all of them for making out stay so special; three brilliant days; what a treat! A side note on the food served at the resort which has been criticized in some reviews. As far as we are concerned, we found breakfast and the food served in the evening excellent. Overall, this is a stay we will remember. We will be back!

We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but we ended up staying for 9 nights! We loved it so much here, we were gutted to leave. Staff so lovely, helpful they make you feel right at home from the minute you come here. They are like one big family.The room was lovely and bright, bed very comfortable, good aircon. We did OW20 course while here with Zach who is amazing in every way! We hope to come back here again sometime. Definitely our favourite stay while travelling!

location was in central tourist area of sairee. Close to beaches, restaurants, convenience stores and atms. Everything within walking distance. Staff was polite and helpful. rooms were spacious and comfortable and pool was wonderful!

The view from the room number 2 is incredible! Led me many times feeling speechless and with a warm heart. All we needed! The room is very comfortable and Dani (the manager) might give you many nice recommendations of things to do or places to go. On the site they rent bikes, snorkeling gear and they arrange a taxi for you in case you need it.

The huts are new and fresh, and the view from most is breathtaking. The resort is named after Freedom beach, which is easily accessible via stairs. Koh Tao has a lot to offer and Relax Freedom Beach Resort is great place to start. We also really appreciated the shuttle from and to the pier. The breakfast was generous and excellent, even including some delicious fried chicken one morning!

It is absolutely beautiful and you can watch the sunset right from the balcony, which felt like such a luxury. The hut we stayed in was clean and tidy, which was great. Before arriving, we saw some reviews about the curtains not being blackout and this is certainly the case but it didn’t bother us too much. Great location to walk to bars, restaurants and the pier for any excursions!
