When I awoke to the beautiful sunrise from my room I was speechless. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished with a view second to none. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Seaside restaurant below, part of the resort, also had the most spectacular views and great choices for breakfast. I also took a group of friends there for dinner one evening and they all enjoyed the location and food immensely. Upon checking in, they suggested us to upgrade to the room with a pool, and we took it - best decision ever. It was amazing to swim in the private pool with views of the sea. The staff is very polite and helpful, you can count with their support for any inquiry/service, including motorbike rental. Great selection for breakfast, I liked their chicken rice soup. Room is clean and cozy. Includes bath robes. There's an amazing restaurant on the other side of the road, Seaside, a must go. We went there 3 times during our 2 night stay. The restaurant at the Hilltop is also good. If we're ever back to Koh Yao Yai, we'll definitely consider staying here again.

I liked everything. It is right on the beach, the rooms are large and there was a pool right outside my balcony door. The pool is very large and only about a metre deep so is great for families. The resort allowed 3 x 10 year old Thai boys to use the pool on 2 occasions. (children of my Thai friends on the island). The breakfast was very extensive. Great for early morning and evening beach walks. Koh Yao Yai is one of the lesser known islands, only 30 minutes by speedboat from Bang Rong Pier on Phuket. There is no night life but if you fancy just relaxing this is as good a place as any. The price was well within my budget.
