Surrounded by greenery and cliffs, Tonsai Bay Resort is a 2-minute walk from Tonsai Beach and offers villas with private balconies. It features a diving centre, beachfront restaurant and bar.

Tonsai Bay Resort is reachable via boat only by a 10-minute boat ride from Aow-Nang Pier, which is a 30-minute drive from Krabi International Airport.

We had two bungalows for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). The rooms where excellent with everything needed (hot shower, tea kettle, fridge, daily bottled water and clean towels). Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in arranging transport. The setting is beautiful: nestled into forested cliffs that rise straight up and over the resort (yes, if you look straight up, the cliffs actually overhang much of the resort; it's good that falling rocks are not a problem). A troop of monkeys lived in the tree and bushes outside our deck, but they did not bother us, other than leaving some monkey droppings on the path. There are some excellent activities available onsite: massage; a great beach (at high tide); kayaks for exploring the many nearby sea caves and islands; and of course, some of the best rock climbing in the world.

Dream Valley Resort offers an accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and views of the limestone mountain.

Booking seriously overcharges for this hotel. The hotel had lots of availability for other nights. Booking falsely claimed that they wete” sold out.” This caused travel difficulties. Avoid booking.

Rooms at the Railay Princess Resort & Spa have Thai-style furnishings and include a satellite TV, a seating area and a private balcony with garden and pool views.

The rooftop pool offers amazing views, and the lower level pool had a great atmosphere for relaxing on loungers under the trees. This is a beach resort that is frequented by rockclimbers. excellent facilities. The beach is very nice. This resort is not extremely luxurious, has no swimming pool and a nice basic restaurant. Staff is very friendly. You can walk to another beach but you have to climb a little or walk at low tide along the beach. This neighbouring beach is rather touristic.

Overall it's an okay stay, wouldn't recommend to be honest. So overpriced for the what you get. Rooms are comfy and clean but for the price you pay the resort doesn't have enough amenities to justify. Beach not great as well

Tonsai beach is the best place in Thailand for climbing, and Tonsai Bay Resort is only a minute walk away from amazing climbs. This hotel offers the best value-for-money if one needs a good bed, shower and decent breakfast. The room is clean and modern and hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great value for money. It quite hidden away and it’s not easy to get there but we really enjoyed our adventure through the jungle (and walking on the beach at low tide on our way out). Unfortunately, we went during low season so didn’t get to experience the hippie culture at the resort as it was only a few people staying. Staff were very nice and helpful. Good climbing options around, friendly for beginners.

the vibe and the location of this place is just unbelievably magical . if you go rock climbing this is your place ‘cause you’ll meet likeminded ppl. it’s really quite, and doesn’t feel like touristic at all. now they are recovering from Covid but they are already getting ready for high season. if I come back to Thailand, I’ll make sure to pay them a visit :) if you expect some luxury resort, I think this is not your place to stay :) the place is just nice as it is, and it’s part of its charm.

it’s a great location to have some days off from your stressful daily life. As you can just access the Resort via an Boat it’s very quite. The Villas and the staff are great to have some relaxing days. it’s a great location to do hiking and rock climbing, as well as a good starting point for a daily trip to Koh Phi Phi. Highly recommend this resort!
