Highly recommended! Amazing staff, a large and pleasant suite, the food and swimming pools are great - everything was perfect! We came to Zanzibar for our honeymoon and had a great time at the Emerald, it was beyond our expectations. You feel like at home! It is a real home! The breakfast and the quality of all foods from the hotel restaurant is on the highest niveau. The room and all the facilities (nice relaxing places, sunbeds, and the kids-romm with snooker and darts were great and very clean. The shower outside of the room under the palm trees is superb with a real wellness feeling experience. The pool was crystallclear and the temperature was amazing. The pool had also shadow part where the kids could swim also when the sun is very stong or att he low tide. The staff is unbelievable kind and professional. The hotel has got its own water purifying system and its own sewage water handling system. It is a good feeling that one could drink tap water. That is why it must be emphasized that it is an ÖKO-HOTEL which cares about our future environment. The beach of the hotel is safe and clean and supervised by staff al day long. The reef-tour(which is complementary) where you could meet the sea animals was very interesting!
